Okay, first of all: Sorry for the unexpected downtime.
This was caused by our webspace provider who decided to transfer our account to a different server, without lettings us know beforehand! Great huh.
This happened because the site was using up too much traffic so they probably were afraid the other users that shared the old server wouldn't get enough speed.
The new server only has a few users that share it. So this should mean better downloadrates and overall loading times for us.
The title says Downtime#2 because for some odd reason the site was available for half a day or so and then went down again. 5 minutes after I talked to the support it worked again. Surprise!
So now the site/server should stay online. There have been made changes to the DNS server, that's why the domain currently leads to the old mainsite, should be fixed within the next day. FTP accounts won't work for that time period. Sorry.
I'd be glad if you could come up with some downloadspeed-tests so we can figure out if the new server already offers some improvements over the old one.
edit: ha, i just checked the server stats: we currently use up over 100gb of space, around 70gb just for thps vids! (globalskaters.net/videos/)
